Enjoy the sounds of stream and forest inhabitants in this 913-acre preserve. A ridge top dominated by chestnut oak and pitch pine with an understory of blueberry, huckleberry and mountain laurel. Fishing is permitted along Mountain Creek. Hunting is restricted to 700 acres. Both common and rare wildlife species can be found in this mini-wilderness. Pick blueberries along the dry upland slopes. Free and open year-round dawn to dusk. 1.2 miles of easy-moderate trail.
