North Park is 53ha in extent and comprises riverine and coastal scarp forest, where visitors can walk beneath the canopy of a mature forest. The reserve is home to very good birdlife, in particular the Knysna Turacos, which co-habit the region with their locally more common relatives, the Purple Crested Turaco.

Driving Directions: Take the M7 west from Durban to Queensburgh. Take the Main Road off-ramp and turn left. Travel south along the
Main Road towards Escombe, turn right into Anderson Road. The reserve is located at the end of the road.
