USE-IT is an eThekwini initiative established as the Waste Materials Recovery Industry Development Programme. An NGO with the dual objectives of waste diversion from landfill and the creation of green jobs. USE-IT has already created more than 600 jobs in this sector with a vision to divert 70% of the city's waste and create 14,000 jobs
