Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea, and is located in the west of Incheon. This airport has been ranked as the Best Airport Worldwide for 11 consecutive years by the Airports Council International’s Airport Service Quality Award. Also, Skytrax, a United Kingdom-based consultancy that runs an airline and airport review, has rated Incheon International Airport as the world’s cleanest airport and the world’s best international transit airport. The average departure and arrival takes 19 minutes and 12 minutes respectively, which is a short duration of time considering that the worldwide average is 60 minutes and 45 minutes. Also, the baggage mishandling rate in this airport is only a 0.0001%; hence the ranks seem very logical.

The airport facilities include a golf course, spa, private sleeping rooms, an ice skating rink, a casino, indoor gardens, and a Museum of Korean Culture. There are also KIDS-Zone, free shower room and internet zone for airport users. Visiting the duty-free shopping mall, which had been rated the world’s best for three years in a row by Business Traveller, is also recommended. The friendly service of Incheon International Airport will leave the finest impression to all visitors.
