By connecting climate change and fire research to societal values, we foster innovative management solutions to sustain forests and forest-based values, and improve our quality of life. Home of the Houghton Rhizotron, an underground facility with 24 windows looking out into northern forest soils. This facility is one of two in the world located in a northern forest ecosystem.
