高野川--Takano River

出町柳から北は、それまで鴨川と呼んでいた川が、東の高野川、西の賀茂川と分かれます。川べりは京都市民の憩いの場所となっており、春には花見客で賑わいます。一年を通して、生き物も多く見られ、アオサギ、コサギ、鴨、ユリカモメ、セキレイや鵜も見ることができます。水質もまあまあのようです。
