Front Station Market(站前市場)
Visão geral
Front Station Market was the Trade Center. “Streets” in Qing Dynasty were viewed as the trading point. The surrounding plaza would also provide temporary commercial activities. Today, the earliest built temples can be found in Shalu, Luoquan, Juren, and Meiren villages, and so did the earliest markets. Thereafter, the trading place has been gradually developed as a permanent market place. Initially a public market was established in 1902. After the restoration, Longjing, Wuqi’ residents started running business here. As a consequence, the area expanded outward. Datong St. is the main street and it is also expanded outward to Shatian Rd and Siping St. This area then became the commercial Center in Shalu.
