公共廁所

指供城市居民和流動人口共同使用的廁所，包括公共建築（如車站、商店、影院、展覽館、辦公樓等）、公共空間等附設的廁所，所採用之標準通常為《城市公共廁所衛生標準》。
另外公共廁所根據建築形式、建築結構、建築等級、空間特徵、沖洗方式、管理方式或投資渠道等，將其分為不同種類，像這樣子的知識其實也算是一門學問，其實公共廁所對於國家來說也算是一個重要的門面，是社會文明的指標，當我們旅行到任何一國度，都可以從其公共廁所之設備良劣、清潔與否，便可知道這個國家及其人民是否重視環境衛生，也可知道這個國家的文明水平及生活品質。(文化畢委會 杜映儒 吳瑋庭)
