Leonard Park Demonstration Rain Garden
Visão geral
History:
The Leonard Park rain garden was installed as part of the Rockaway Valley Garden Club's goal of "going green" in 2008. The project was initiated as a follow-up to a Spring 2008 presentation conducted by Dr. Christopher Obropta on rain gardens.
Type of Runoff Managed:
This rain garden manages stormwater from the Leonard Park parking lot and a portion of the adjacent road.

Boonton Township provided in-kind support to assist with the rain garden installation. The native plants were donated by Ingrid Witty, Rockaway Valley Garden Club President, and J.S.L.
