Formerly known as “Gibbs” because the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School used the building from 1950 to 2004, Academy Square is an office building which mixes leading technology and classic architecture. Prior to 1950, the property was used for a private school from 1906 to 1950. Since 2004, Cadbury Properties LLC purchased the property to preserve the architectural details and retrofit the building to use for business, professional and medical offices. Academy Square recognizes the need for sustainability of construction and has received a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.
