Long Creek Falls
Overview
Take a short 2 mile round trip hike to see this beautiful waterfall. It is an easy to moderate climb. There are no facilities on or near the trail. To get there from Dahlonega, take Highway 52 west to Grizzard's Store. Turn right on Nimblewill Gap Road. At 2.3 miles turn right on Winding Stair Gap Road (a dirt road that becomes F. S. 77). Travel 7.1 miles to Forest Service Road 42 and turn right. Take the first road to the left (Forest Service Road 58). Continue on FS 58 for 2.7 miles. At Three Forks there is some parking, but on weekends it is almost always full. There are several hiking trails that can all be accessed from three forks. It is a nice area to spend the day and enjoy nature.
