Jammin’ with Green Map for a Just and Resilient NYC - workshop with the Hibridos Collective and Green Map System on community mapping at the Open Engagement conference that explores various perspectives on art and social practice. Featuring the Jackson Heights DiverCity Mapping Projec and charting sites in the Panorama of NYC we will explore how maps can be used as tools to advocate for social change and share “green ways of being.” The map features a variety of sites, wildly scattered across New York's five boroughs. In this workshop we will learn how to use our new Mobile Site Collector, and help populate the map with new green sites!
