As booklovers, Wonder Book believes that books are not made to be disposed of—they are made to be read, collected, shared, and displayed. We strive to find a home for every book, and we "recycle" around 1.5 million pounds of books each year by selling them in our three retail stores, on Amazon and other websites, and through our Books by the Foot service. For the few books we cannot sell, we physically recycle them. We recycle around 500,000 pounds of paper, cardboard, plastic, and cans each year. Nearly all of our shelving has been reclaimed from libraries and other booksellers.
