國立台灣歷史博物館National Museum of Taiwan History

概览

位於安南區和順寮農場，鄰近西港、安定、永康、新市等鄉鎮。在民國88年10月成立籌備處後，歷經多年的波折，將在2008年正式開館。中州寮社區與歷史博物館距離約1公里，未來彼此將彼鄰而居，共為社區發展構築願景。
國立歷史博物館建築形式以干欄式建築為原則，建築構想從象徵台灣的四個元素，「渡海」、「鯤身」、「雲牆」、「融合」。未來主要展示包括常設展、企劃展、臨時展及兒童廳，常設展主題為「斯土斯民－台灣的故事」，依歷史時間軸呈現台灣長時間、多民族與自然環境互動的歷史。企劃展以核心計畫即台灣涉外關係史、台灣族群互動史及台灣現代化發展史等三個主題展開各項子計畫研究，並預訂開館首展為「地圖與船舶」、「部落影像」、「台灣女人」三個企劃展計畫。臨時展則以文物特展、借展、巡迴展等方式展開各項事件、文物、主題之展示。

The museum is located at the Heshun Liao Farm in the Annan District, adjoining townships include Xigang, Anding, Xinshi and Yongkang city. Preparatory Office of this Museum was established in October 1999. After years of development, it officially opened in year 2008. The Jhong Jhou Liao community is only one kilometer away from the museum. As close neighbors, they intend to cooperate and construct a better community together.
The architecture of the museum was constructed based on the principles of stilt houses. The main designing theme integrates the four elements of Taiwan which are as followed: the “Duhai”which represents crossing of the sea;”Kun Shen”which represents the fish body; “Yun Ciang”which respresents cloud walls;“Rong He”represents fusion. The exhibitions include permanent, temporary, special and children’s hall exhibitions. “The Story of Taiwan” is the current permanent exhibition. It takes a diverse interpretation of history, and goes through the different regimes that have ruled Taiwan as a way of exploring the cultures and lives of the people on this island. The exhibition considers the many interactions between Taiwan’s multiple ethnic groups and varied natural environments over a long period of time, and hopefully will show how both the land and people have influenced each other. Temporary exhibition will include artifact exhibitions and tours by theme.
