Helder Design
Overview
Dedicated to sustainable and green building design, Helder Design is committed to bringing energy efficient, environmentally responsible, housing to the high-end as well as the lower income and affordable housing sector. Mark Helder's past projects include private homes, several not-for-profit spaces (including an art house movie theater), multi-family complexes, and commercial spaces. In 1998, Helder started the company, Helder Design, in the Netherlands and expanded the studio to New York in 2002. The work of Helder Design has been exhibited in the South-Eastern Center for Contemporary Design in South Carolina, Gallery 312 in Chicago, the Chicago Architecture Foundation, and the AIA Center for Architecture in New York City.
