Enviropaedia is an Environmental Encyclopaedia (An A-Z of Green Topics) that offers short factual explanations as well as broad overview perspectives of certain environmental challenges and explores conflicting values and viewpoints about controversial environmental issues.

One can order the book as well as explore some of topics through their website at www.enviropaedia.com . The site also contains a green directory that serves as a database for environmental & other organisations involved in sustainable development such as NGO’s, consultants, companies, government and academic institutions.

The Enviropaedia is committed to support

* The Environmental Community
* Poverty Alleviation
* Environmental Education
* All individuals and organisations working toward sustainable development

The publishers of The Enviropaedia have aimed to maintain a position of financial 'sustainability', whereby once the costs of producing The Enviropaedia have been covered by advertising and book sales, surplus funds thereafter have been distributed to organisations that have worked to:

* protect our natural environment
* assist people in uplifting themselves
* create a greater awareness and understanding of the principles of Sustainable Development
