Graphite mining started in the region in the 18th century. Grafitový důl ended its operation in 2003 owing to unprofitability of the business, but the mine is open for the public as a museum.
The museum offers an underground tour, where visitors wear protective gears, get on the train and discover the mines led by a professional guide.

チェスキークルムロフでは、18世紀から黒鉛鉱業が盛んだった。Grafitový důlでの採掘は経営悪化のため2003年で終了したが、その鉱業場は博物館として公開されている。見学ツアーでは、貸出の防護服に身を包み、ガイドの案内で鉱山の中を鉱山列車に乗って探索できる。
