Rezumat
(mid 18th century) This significant local landmark, though exhibiting later remodelings, still retains much of its 18th and especially early 19th century characteristics. Original owner Jacobus Vanderveer left this house to his son Dr. Lawrence Vanderveer, a Justice of the Peace and later Freeholder, in the 1770s. (Hillsborough Historic Preservation Commission)
