Yahoola Creek park is a beautiful park situated in a valley divided by Yahoola creek. On one side of the creek there are hiking trails, soccer fields, a community garden, butterfly and frog habitats, a playground and creekside picnic tables. On the other side is rolling hills, basketball/ tennis courts, and family gathering areas. It is a great place to spend the day enjoying the outdoors in many ways. The trails range from beginning level to experienced hiking terrain. You can find beautifully carved walking sticks for loan at the kiosk near the wildflower gardens. There are also four outdoor classrooms including two pavilions and a study pond for your use and learning oppotunities. This is Lumpkin County's golden greenspace.
