Founded in 1927, Amalgamated is the oldest limited equity housing cooperative in the United States, providing affordable housing and a strong community for 1500 moderate-income families. The Van Cortlandt Village Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program at this co-op is part of Just Food, an organization designed to work with local farmers and NYC communities to build a more just and sustainable food system.
