Atelier Xaxá

Rezumat

The manager/owner of the store is Juaneid (Xaxá). She runs the store all by herself and
make all of the items by hand. She moved to Paraty when she was 15 years old and made a living
by selling ice cream along the streets. She uses newspapers that have already been read and only
turns on the lights in her business when it’s too dark to see outside. The store has items such as
handmade jewelry and small decoration items. Xaxá is very happy making her pieces and does
not see herself doing anything else in her life.She is very welcoming to guests and very happy
when she discusses her art.
