Cora Dance is a dance school, studio, and contemporary dance company based in Red Hook. Cora is committed to bringing access and interest in contemporary dance to isolated and rural communities that would otherwise not have arts programming. Some communities they have worked in include Harrisonburg/Rockingham County, Virginia; Shepherdstown, West Virginia; and Whitesburg, Kentucky. They also offer free summer dance workshops for children in Mother Cabrini Park in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Right now, Cora is offering after-school dance classes for young dancers, ages 3 and up, at PS 15 in Red Hook.
