Hooker Alley Community Garden

Rezumat
Named presumably because "Maiden Lane" was taken - is one of many community gardens cared for by members of the San Francisco League of Urban Gardeners.
The Hooker Alley Community Garden was threatened in 1980 when the owner of a parking garage around the corner on Bush Street wanted to pave Hooker Alley to create a Mason Street entrance for the garage. The attempt was thwarted by the Board of Supervisors.

That's one horrible, horrible name for a garden. It's around the corner from Bush, you say? Hey, is that near Chlamydia Park?
- AnonimI would assume the park named after girls that work there?
