If the poster from July 21, 2009 usually attends a clinic in Vancouver why did they bother to to go to the walk-in clinic in Squamish to have stitches removed? You know ahead of time how many days it will be until the stitches need removal when they are placed. If it's going to take an extra day it's not a big deal to wait one extra day to get home...and honestly with Vancouver being 45 minutes - an hour drive and that's where your regular clinic is...go there to have the stitches removed instead of complaining about fees etc.
I wouldn't be suprised if there is more to this story than just what the original poster shared.
The Squamish Open Green Map is an online version of our Squamish Green Map which is currently being developed for a printing date of Fall 2009. A collaborative community project, the Squamish Mapping Group has hosted workshops, forums, drop-in hours and meetings for the area's youth, societies and residents. Throughout our process we are using local knowledge and perspectives to share an awareness of Squamish's social, environmental, historical and business assets; the map will illustrate these community-valued assets and concerns of life in Squamish as well as visions for a "greener", sustainable future.
I 100% agree with Sept 4th post
