Översikt

Ingen har röstat än

The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, Ohio's only College of Urban Affairs, is ranked among the top eight schools of urban affairs in the United States for both undergraduate and graduate students. The College is ranked second in the graduate specialty of city management and urban policy in U.S. News and World Report's 1998, 2002, 2005 and 2008 editions of "America's Best Graduate Schools."

Levin College graduates are engaged in city planning, program development, community organizing, public safety and homeland security, nonprofit administration, environmental and sustainability policy development and analysis, public finance and economic development. Many graduates have found the urban affairs majors to be a strong foundation for advanced study in law, urban planning, public administration, or environmental policy and management.

The Urban Center:

For nearly 30 years, CSU's Urban Center has served as the focal point of applied research, technical assistance and public service in Ohio. The Center draws on the talented pool of professional staff and scholars at CSU's Levin College of Urban Affairs, long considered a leader in City Management and Urban Policy. It is the largest resource in the state dedicated to urban policy research.

Research Areas: Community Planning and Development, Economic Development, Public Management and Finance, Demographic and Geographic Data and Analysis

The Countryside Program:

The Countryside Program has been working since 1996 to promote sustainable rural and exurban development patterns in the Ohio Lake Erie Basin. We work with include local officials (trustees, zoning and planning commissions and boards, City and Village Councils); landowners; developers and the real estate community; designers and planners; and the general public. We partner with local community organizations; County Planning Commissions and Soil and Water Districts; conservation groups and land conservancies; development groups; State and Federal agencies to achieve a balanced approach.
