Corporate Distribution Limited has been committed to making a difference. The following lists just a few of the things that CDL is doing in order to help reduce the impact of commercial printing:

*CDL is one of only a handful on printers in Pennsylvania that have received their Forest Stewardship Council chain-of-custody certification. Don’t be fooled! Anyone can purchase FSC certified paper, but only those who have passed the rigorous standards of the FSC are able to offer you the right to the FSC logo. We are able to guarantee that the paper you are using for your important project has been processed from start to finish with environmentally conscious hands! CDL is able to offer our clients the right to use the FSC logo on all of their printed materials. This product label allows consumers worldwide to recognize that your product supports the growth of responsible forest management-helping to protect and renew the world in which we live.

* CDL uses a computerized Pre-Press operating system which eliminates photo chemicals and saves water and energy in the process.

* We lessen the landfill impact with proper recycling of all paper scraps, cardboard, plastics, toner cartridges and even our outdated computer and office equipment.

* CDL uses Digital Printing wherever possible. This eliminates the dampening systems of traditional printing methods and avoids the use of environmentally unfriendly films and chemicals.

*Offsetting “Offset Printing”- Traditional Offset printing is still the way to go when you want a high quality, color piece. We welcome the opportunity to work with our customers and to educate them on the values and benefits of “Green” printing. In doing so, we assist our clients in “designing green” which will cut down on paper waste. We assist them in understanding the benefits of eco friendly paper choices, such as FSC Certified paper and recycled paper with a high amount of Post Consumer Waste eliminating the use of new tree pulp whenever possible. We have also switched to the use of Soy Based Ink products which will help eradicate harmful VOC emissions.

*Our “Green Office” policy allows all of our employees to participate in our strides. We are finding ways to incorporate recycled materials into nearly every aspect of our office life, from 100% recycled copy paper to recycled hand towels to chemical free cleaning supplies. Our employees believe in this effort and are continually coming to us with new ways to improve our environmental impact.
