概览
This 5.3 kilowatt photovoltaic dual-axis tracking system is installed on the National Sprinkler building at 544 J Street in Lincoln. The tracking capability increases the performance of the array 40-45% over stationary mounted photovoltaic systems. The tracker is mounted on a custom tower manufactured by TMCO. It utilizes three helical anchors that are screwed into 25' into the ground to provide a superior foundation over a conventional concrete structure. The system was designed and installed by SWT Energy Inc of Lincoln. Lincoln Electric System funded 50% of the installation via their sustainable energy program.
