Woodfield Reservation
124 acres

The Woodfield Reservation is a 124-acre park of mature forests, rocky slopes, stream corridors, and seasonal wetlands. The Reservation’s most interesting features include two rock formations: Tent Rock, a massive boulder, and Council Rock, an outcrop that overlooks a larger, bouldery basin. These and other features are accessible to the public through the area’s 2.5 miles of trails. The park’s steep slopes make it more suitable for vigorous walkers.

For trails map and description, please visit NJ Trails. See also the Friends of Woodfield Reservation website for more information on the preserve.

Location: The main entrance to Woodfield Reservation is a gravel parking lot, located off Great Road West, across from the Tenacre Foundation. A second entrance to the Reservation is a footpath from the south side of Drakes Corner Road. Both entrances are marked by signs.
