ParkWorks is a leader in creating and executing strategies that promote neighborhood and downtown revitalization through the development and programming of public spaces. ParkWorks revitalizes Cleveland by leading a wide range of initiatives that create a more sustainable, welcoming city. We focus on projects and programs that have significant economic impact on Northeast Ohio.

Vibrant parks and public spaces, streetscapes, a thriving and energized downtown, and neighborhoods with character and urban appeal -- all contribute to the vitality of our city.

ParkWorks remains committed to defining, prioritizing and delivering community development agendas in Cleveland’s neighborhoods, downtown and University Circle. We are leading public space creation and sustainable development efforts throughout Cleveland, and working with other nonprofits engaged in similar work.

ParkWorks’ current agenda is built around four major program areas – Downtown, Neighborhoods, University Circle and Building Cleveland by Design – each of which is integral to Cleveland's future thriving urban landscape.

The organization was started in 1977 as Rapid Recovery, later evolved into Clean-Land, Ohio and has been serving Cleveland as ParkWorks since 1998.
