Overview
General Description
Oxwich Woods are a SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) within the larger NNR (National Nature Reserve) of Oxwich Bay. The rare plant species rock whitebeam and stinking hellebore are present, and the woods are dominated by oak, with dome elm, ash and small-leaved lime. The woods are important components of the overall diversity of the area. The area is managed by Natural Resources Wales.
