The Los Angeles River flows from the San Fernando Valley out to Long Beach where it meets the Pacific Ocean. A hotspot for dumping and pollution, during the rainy season the river will rise, often trapping people who venture too close. However, in the recent years, due to the water conditions in the area, the river has remained relatively low.
