This hanging bridge, located beneath the Robert E. Lee Bridge, provides access from the North bank of the James River to Belle Island. Once on the island there are myriad activities: fishing, walking and running, kayaking, biking and hiking through some of the trails of the James River Park System as well as rock climbing. The bridge is open year round, and the park closes at sunset.
