Aeroportul International Arad are avantajul unui grad remarcabil de accesibilitate fiind situat la 4 km. Vest fata de centrul orasului Arad, pozitia sa geografica raportata la centrul pistei este 21º 15' 14" Est, 43º 10' 35" Nord, la 106 metri deasupra nivelului marii, în suprafata totala de 157 ha. Se bucura de o pozitie strategica buna aflându-se la 250 km de Budapesta si 300 km de Belgrad. Este situat în apropierea frontierei cu Ungaria, la 30 km d cel mai apropiat punct rutier de trecere a frontierei -Turnu si 20 km de cel mai apropiat punct feroviar de trecer a frontierei - Curtici.
