Founded in 1985, Living Classrooms Foundation strengthens communities and inspires young people to achieve their potential through hands-on education and job training, using urban, natural, and maritime resources as "living classrooms." The East Baltimore Campus educational facilities are just north of the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, Living Classrooms HQ and an educational and national heritage site that highlights African American maritime history.
