Stewart/HG designed vegetative roof gardens, including drip irrigation, and used an eco-friendly indigenous plant palette in order to complement the Mead Westvaco downtown corporate headquarters located near the James River and to satisfy the client’s desire for environmental stewardship. Enjoyed by Richmonders on their way to Brown’s Island or biking and kayaking nearby, this corporate project enhances our city and received four out of four Green Globes by the Green Building Initiative.
