Overview

Elephant Sculpture at Druid Hill Park
No votes yet

The five painted elephant sculptures, two mothers and three babies, were created by Barbara Thompson. In workshops led by Deborah Patterson of the nonprofit ARTblocks, the mosaic elements were created by many community members including Westside Elementary School students. The sculptures are intended to help calm the traffic around Druid Hill Park near the Liberty Heights entrance to the park.
