Aim: To ensure the long-term survival of the cheetah and its ecosystem through a multi-disciplined and integrated conservation programme of research and education.

Services offered: Cheetah Outreach is an educational effort that brings the cheetah to the people, where the great cats may be seen and touched (more than one million people have experienced this). The programme raises an awareness of these endangered animals and their threatened ecosystems as well as promoting livestock management techniques incorporating non-lethal predator control (guard dogs). Cheetah Outreach offers presentations, environmental resources and workshops to schools within the Western Cape Province and collaborates with other research and conservation institutions internationally to help ensure the survival of this African predator.
