The land on which Imhoff Farm stands was granted in 1743 to the widow Christina Diemer by Baron Gustaff van Imhoff, Commissioner Extraordinaire of the Dutch East India Company. Nowadays visitors are invited to experience an authentic old Cape farmstead.

Imhoff Farm is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Here one can enjoy great food, visit the old buildings housing unique shops and partake in some of the many activities on offer.

The Restaurant
Blue Water Café serves delectable and freshly prepared food with a relaxed atmosphere and a picture perfect backdrop. Add to this a safe enclosed garden, jungle gym and neighbouring animal farm – all guaranteed to keep the little ones happily occupied – and you have the consummate recipe for enjoying the good life!

The Café serves delicious New Cape style food and heavenly pizzas baked in a wood fired oven. Owners Rael and Graham (founder of the highly acclaimed River Café in Constantia) are passionate about serving quality food. Only the freshest farm ingredients are used, organic or free range wherever possible. Every meal is freshly prepared and beautifully presented to positively tantalise those taste buds.

Shops
Imhoff’s Free Range Farm Shop takes you back to “the good old days” when organic was a given and pantries were packed with wholesome, fresh foods from the local farm. Wafts of freshly picked herbs and platters of exotic tasters greet you at the door. This is food as nature intended.
