This is a great project that Mizzou has implemented since 1999. This community garden is not only a great place to relax, but is also a great hub of flora information to the public. Giving eco-tours around the garden, the Mizzou Botanic Garden gives a wealth of information to visitor regarding the pest resistance, growth characteristics, ease of maintenance, ant the adaptability of growing conditions of a variety of plants at the garden. Professional horticulturists are always evaluating and adding new plants to the garden for display to the public. This is a great green resource that provides education to the public that will hopefully increase the awareness of the general public and appreciation for flora, fauna, and the environment.
