Overview

No votes yet

Leaf mold mulch, wood chips, and firewood are available to citizens in the University City region. People can go to the mulch piles and take away well composted leaves or wood chips. Tree trunks and large limbs are stockpiled nearby and ready to become fire wood. The Heman Park compost heap is the closest compost facility to the CHERP prairie garden projects

Heman is a popular public park, located near several public and private schools. This park is often used for elementary school soccer games in the area. Little league and other baseball teams play in the fields. The park picnic shelters are very popular for large family picnics and bar-be-ques.
