Providing Megawatts of clean power integrated into the grid, Region Solar is an industry leader. We design, integrate and develop renewable solar energy solutions for residential, commercial and EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Manager) clients. Our team specializes in electrical and structural engineering, system design, project management, installation and system commissioning. Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, we are one of the largest photovoltaic integrators in the state, in addition to covering the Caribbean basin from this location. Our satellite office in Southern Vermont serves EPC clients, from boutique to large-scale farms. For more information, visit Region Solar’s website at www.regionsolar.co/

As a green business partner, Region Solar is doing the little things to make a difference. The office is committed to reducing their waste stream through a number of measures. This includes using reusable kitchenware, mugs and glasses in their break room, restrooms use reusable soap containers, the office materials such as binders, envelopes and folders are reused, and toner and printer cartridges are recycled. In the meeting room, the client consultation table is made from a used solar panel and the foam core presentation board is made from repurposed materials. As a solar installation company, energy conservation is of importance to Region Solar. The office uses energy efficient lighting, panel skylights, natural solar lighting in the garage bay, and has an electric vehicle.

Region Solar became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2014. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
