Clarks Bethel United Methodist Church
Overview
This Methodist church was established in 1886. The first service was held Feb. 25 and the first minister, Rev. Charles A. Brothers, arrived Dec. 7. In 1892, the church's name was changed from Clarks Methodist Episcopal South to Clarks Bethel. The original church was destroyed Sept. 14, 1944. The church building was rebuilt in 1945.
