Fida International, founded in 1927, is the Missions and Development Co-Operation Organisation of the Finnish Pentecostal churches. Fida operates in 59 countries of the world and has about 360 missionaries with their families abroad. Since 1974 Fida has run development co-operation with support from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

Fida is one of the official partnership organisations of the Foreign Ministry, and has a frame agreement with ECHO, the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid department. Fida runs almost a hundred development co-operation, support a child or humanitarian aid programmes in about 30 countries with local partners. The word Fida is Latin and means faithful and reliable.

Fida own’s Fida Second Hand Shops, Finland’s largest Second Hand shop chain with 34 shops. Fida Second Hand Shops promote recycling and their profit is used to help the needy people of the world through Fida’s development cooperation work.
