På Teknikens och Sjöfartens hus, Malmö museer finns 515 m2 solceller, varav en mindre del är synlig placerad på fasaden. Den installerade effekten är 67 kW och anläggningen producerar cirka 57 000 kWh/år. Teknikens och Sjöfartens hus fick SolEl-programmets pris för årets solcellsanläggning 2006. I huset kan besökarna kontrollera en solpanel och se hur elproduktionen varierar med beroende på olika faktorer.

There are 512 square meters of solar panels on the Technical museum, most of them are located on the roof but some are on the wall and can be seen from the street. The effect is 67 kWh and the production is around 57 000 kWh/year. The museum received an award as the solar cell establishment of the year in 2006. Inside the museum the visitors can control solar panels and see how the production of electricity changes depending on different conditions.
