Overview
Mount Hebron Middle School is Montclair's science and technology magnet middle school providing education to sixth, seventh and eighth graders. Providing an array of core courses and electives, students are encouraged to interact with each other to develop new relationships with other students. Mount Hebron is the home of Montclair’s renowned middle school pre-engineering program, Project Lead The Way (“PLTW”). PLTW is a national non-profit educational network that partners with middle schools and high schools across the country to provide a rigorous, relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (“STEM”) education. A greenhouse on site provides students with educational knowledge of nutrition of food, processing of food and benefits of growing locally and organically.
