Herrontown Woods
Overview
Wooded park, comprised of 142 acres (Note Google map base does not show southeast half of park.)
Oswald Veblen, an internationally known mathematician who taught at Princeton University lived in the southeast portion of the site, and deeded this land to the Mercer County Park System in 1957. The red trail follows the original property line and may have been blazed by Dr. Veblen.
The parking area is accessed via a driveway off of Snowden Lane, across from the entrance to Smoyer Park.
