Marquand Park

Overview
Marquand Park is known for its many beautiful trees, including a number of specimen trees and rare species. The arboretum/park also has a playground and picnic area, sand pit, and a small baseball field. There is an extensive network of paved paths throughout the park, with access provided to Stockton St./Rt. 206, Lovers Lane, and Mercer St. A small parking lot is located off of Lovers Lane.
In 1955, the Marquand Park Foundation was created to oversee the care, maintenance and planning programs of the park, and to ensure that the vision of the Marquand family is preserved. The Foundation has produced a detailed guide to the Marquand Park's many trees and trails which can be purchased for $10.00 at Blue Ridge Mountain Sports in the Princeton Shopping Center.
