Woodview Hope Garden

Overview
This all volunteer community garden was established in 1995 to help feed people, and it has been donating fresh produce every year since then to the Heights Emergency Food Center. There are 19 raised beds available for rent to the public; a nominal fee is charged to cover the cost of watering. This garden expanded in June 2010 by donation of a HUD house. The house at 924 Woodview was sold by HUD to the city of Cleveland Heights for $1. The city then demolished the vacant house, and the lot was donated to Woodview Hope Gardens.
Volunteers are needed to work in this community garden, and/or to donate money. This group has a special interest in feeding the hungry and in educating children about gardening. Contact them by email or via their Woodview Hope Garden Facebook page.
