Dome Adventures in Venterskroon
Overview
The small, historic town of Venterskroon neighbours Parys and serves as a vortex for Vredefort Dome nature hikes and other activities. Dome Adventures is situated in the heart of Venterskroon which is comprised of only a few houses and a couple of buildings. The area is home to the Dome information centre from where hikers, abseilers, kayakers and cave enthusiasts can then embark on several tours that offer vistas of the meteorite impact, as well as cave excursions featuring bushman paintings and Anglo-Boer War historic sites.
