Mission of Love Charities, Inc provides free services to those in need in Prince George's County and surrounding areas. In the Basic Needs program, MOLC provides donated clothing, furniture, household supplies, food, and school supplies to families and individuals in need. In the Workforce Development & Life Skills program, they provide unemployed individuals with training that includes career planning, customer service skills, resume building, and life skills. After completion of training, these gradates are offered job interviews, and 97% of these people are hired, and will continue to receive support from MOLC for 6 months. This charity is very important to social equity, creating equal opportunities for everyone in the community. For anyone who is looking to make more sustainable life choices, a good place to start is by donating any old clothes, household items, or food that you may not need and may end up in the trash, to charities like this that give them to people who are less fortunate. The training that the charity provides is also very important for creating sustainable communities. When there are more individuals who are capable of working and providing a service to the community, the community can thrive and continue to grow its economy.
